Worship and Music Committee
We are the Worship and Music Committee, welcoming people to worship and encouraging their participation in worship services.	We serve the church and this congregation through our support of worship and music activities in all facets of congregational life, including...
	preparation and serving of Communion ,
and preparation of the sanctuary for special services.
We believe that music is vibrant part of worship, giving voice to the people of the congregation as they express praise and prayer. The Worship and Music Committee seeks to enhance the quality of worship and the fruit it bears in the life of the community of faith.
	Music is also an effective agent of learning in Christian education. Opportunities for musical expression are found in Sunday School classes and through choir opportunities as part of the Cornerstone Program.
We have a role as Curator as we preserve and give life to the musical history of the church as well as encouraging new music. Opportunities for musical expression abound through choirs, ensembles, and the music of our youth.
Nebraska Day at the National Cathedral	We have a role as Evangelist in bringing people into the church whether it be in worship or in concerts.
