The Finance Committee is responsible for the financial affairs of the church including coordinating the budget and stewardship process, reviewing and analyzing monthly financial statements, overseeing church investment accounts, serving as a liaison between Session and the office staff related to financial matters, counting offering and performing an informal review of the books annually. In the committee’s opinion, this review complies with G-10.0401 of the Book of Order as a “full financial review of all books and records related to finances … by a committee of members versed in accounting procedures.” These same annual review procedures are applied to the Organ Vesper Series.
Congregation members receive quarterly statements of giving. Contributions can be made weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually by check or cash. Members also have the option of contributing via Electronic Funds Transfer on a monthly basis.
