Preschool – 3 and 4 year olds and those 5 after October 31st: Preschoolers explore the Bible stories through hands on experiences such as art, movement, stories, songs and games. Lesson plans are created for Church of the Cross by Rev. Regina Maas. Co-teachers are Meg Whaley, Dawn Zimmerman, and Dixie Williams.

Bible Explorer’s Workshop: This Workshop Rotation Model creates a fast paced fun environment for children K—5th grade. Each lesson is centered around a story or theme for about 6 weeks. During those six weeks the children rotate through different activities with different media, which enforce and enhance the scripture lesson. Activities include: Art, Games, Bible Knowledge, Drama, Cooking, and Video. The children meet for about 10 minutes together for an opening discussion, song and prayer. Then the children go by age groups to one activity media workshop for the rest of the hour. Every week, each age group has an adult or “Shepherd” with them and remains a constant friendly face throughout the year.
